Halloween fun

Here is the pumpkin pie we made (sorry about the rotation it will not change) Although Siena was the only one to eat it i consider myself lucky because more for other days!:-)

Here is the preparations for our big Halloween party!!! It was fun we played games carved pumpkins and painted tin cans with designs I will give you all a photo of our costumes later!!!!!

I am sorry i have not been writing i have been very busy!!!!

Anyhow I just had my first sleepover in Spanish it is very different and kind of nice to practice all night. I do not have any pictures on this computer i am the desktop but soon i will get some on!!! I hope that everything is going well were ever people are at these days and that i will see you soon!!

Today we went to the botanical royal gardens it was very beautiful. We smelled roses until we couldn't smell anything anymore. My sleepover was very fun I liked that it was Spanish time 330 to 1030 the next morning it was a very long day!!!!

Uniforms ugh

This is my daily uniform I really actually think that it is comfy but I don't like the skirt! On hot days I do not wear the sweater I take of the sweater and underneath there is a blouse.

This is my gym outfit I will be so relieved at 15:00 (3:00) because I get to wear it at that time!

This is my other gym outfit for when I get hot in my other one I get to wear this one. I personally like this one the best!

Back home!!!!!

Hi everybody how are you? We just got back yesterday and we are still getting used to having to cook our own meals! Tomorrow we will go to school and buy uniforms and get to know everything about the school. I am very exited to do so!!!!

Today we were going to go to the flee market but we decided we did not want to!Because it was so complicated to get there! We would have to take the metro far and we do not always like to do so!

This is Stripes a cat that came and lounged on our windowsill in the condo in Tuscany we took tons of pictures of him. (or at least we think he is a boy)

Our adventures in Italy are ending we are going back to Madrid! Our school starts in 11 days to be exact. We will start a real life because so far it has been like a vacation. In a big hotel room! Well as the Italians might say ciao bella!

Today we went to the academy and saw the famous David! He is (4.23 meters high that’s big) He is known for killing the giant in the bible. Michelangelo made him so lifelike his veins pop out of his hands. We were not allowed to take pictures but I am sure you can Google him and get to see him. My time your school starts tomorrow because I am 9 hours ahead. Good luck!!!! My school starts in 3 weeks! At my school I will probably do volleyball and band and some other things along the way. We have to run the mile everyday!!! :-( I will send pictures of my uniform! Tomorrow I am going to Portofino a small Italian beach town. Bye for now! Laurel

This is me riding english for the second time! It was a beautiful ride through olive gardens and vineyards! I had a lot of fun!!!!!

This is Siena and i in the plaza of El Campo in Siena a small medieval town it is truly lovely! This is the same plaza that they do the Palio in. I am wearing the scarf of the porcupine one of the participants in the race. He won!!!! I love that scarf it keeps you very warm!

Its so hot here. We dont have anything to sit on so i get to sit on aero beds.(uncomfortable) Although I am having fun alot of fun! Oh I almost forgot im going to italy this Friday ill write postcards! I have a new story. Today we went to El Corte Ingles a department store the size of well lets just say bigger than any one in the U.S. We got lost. It was horrible lost in a store horrifying. But here I am today so we got out ok. Nothing new. Bye for now! P.S thank god for public transportation! I also love the food here!

moving to spain 2

These are just a few pictures of our house. Of course, you want a story about life in Spain so here goes! The flight was terrible from Toronto to Spain. We had all of these high school students partying all night but when we finally landed it was all worth it. My new house is a dream come true. I love it. Although I really miss a lot of my friends, my first new friends are named Coral and Carlota. We share a wall and they live next door. My room is the basement. At night its so dark and at 1:00 pm its still dark. We have a sauna and there's a picture of it. I finally got a picture of my pool. You guys are sooooooo lucky, it is 104 degrees here(60 degrees Celcius). Our pool is ice cold, but my sister and I some times jump in in our clothes. (if anyone here moves to Spain buy a pool because you cannot live without it!) Well I hope you enjoy my pictures.

Moving to Spain:-(

I am moving to Spain so I had to go get a visa. It was so boring I had to wait in the Spanish Consulate for hours. I was bored to death. The lady who was helping us kept on getting distracted. It was not funny how many phone calls they get! Finally she is almost finished then guess what she had to go to the bathroom. I was sooooooooo angry, I was about to explode. Finally she finished! Believe me you will regret trying to get a visa for another country it takes soooooo long, but don't let me decide what you should do! I know all the waiting will eventually pay of. (there is a picture of my new house so check it out)
